Sorbillo's flagship is at Via dei Tribunali 32, on the decumano maggiore of the old town. It opens every day from noon to 11:30 p.m. and is closed on Sunday. The pizzas are the wide, thin-centered Neapolitan kind, larger than the plate. On the menu that food site Scatti di Gusto reviewed on July 30, 2026, a margherita cost €7 and a marinara €5.50.
You cannot book. The system is a name list: you give your name to the staff at the door, then wait in the street until you are called. Scatti di Gusto's team waited half an hour at the door on a hot weekday evening and called that a short line. Michelin's advice for peak hours is to arrive with patience.

The menu is three folded pages. These are the prices Scatti di Gusto recorded in July 2026:

Order the marinara. Scatti di Gusto's panel rated it the best pizza of their visit, ahead of the margherita. There is also a pineapple pizza (€9.50) that caused a national argument, a dessert pizza with hazelnut spread (€8.50) and a pizza sospesa: pay €5 and a pizza goes to someone who cannot afford one.
How the name list works
Walk up to the door, give a name and the number in your group, then step back into the street. Staff call names from the list as tables free up. Tables are close and often shared, as Michelin notes.

Which Sorbillo?
There are many. In Naples, Gino Sorbillo lists Via dei Tribunali 32 (the historic pizzeria this page covers), Piazza Vanvitelli 9 on the Vomero (same hours, also closed Sunday) and Lievito Madre al Mare at Via Partenope 1, on the seafront by Piazza Vittoria. Zia Esterina fried-pizza counters are at Via dei Tribunali 35, Piazza Trieste e Trento 53 and Piazzetta Nilo. Beyond Naples there are branches in Rome, Milan, Turin, Genoa, Bologna, Padua, Bergamo and Tokyo.
The Tribunali room is the one with the atmosphere, and the queue. The seafront branch suits you if you are walking the Lungomare.
Around Via dei Tribunali
The pizzeria sits on the old town's main street, a few minutes from Piazza San Gaetano and Napoli Sotterranea, and close to San Gregorio Armeno. If you put your name down and are told the wait is long, a look at the nativity workshops fills the time, as long as you come back before your name is called.
