NH Napoli Panorama

€183–€255 a night, room only Molo Beverello in 11 minutes Via Medina 70, near Municipio

The NH Napoli Panorama is a tower at Via Medina 70, between Piazza Municipio and the start of the old town. It is a four-star business hotel with 222 rooms, and the design choice that matters is simple: the rooms start on the 16th floor. Every room looks out over the rooftops, the port or Vesuvius. NH puts its Executive rooms on the 30th floor.

On Kayak on September 30, 2026, NH's own rate for a standard double with views was €225 for October 14, 2026 and €183 for November 11, room only and non-refundable, taxes and fees included. The cheapest flexible sea-view rate was €255 and €189. For a view room in the center, nothing we priced came close.

What the two dates cost

Room and rate (Kayak)October 14, 2026November 11, 2026
NH direct, standard with view, room only, prepaid€225€183
Sea-view double, room only, non-refundable€245–€248€184–€202
Sea-view double, free cancellation, pay later€255€189

None of these rates included breakfast. NH serves a buffet at La Loggetta, its first-floor restaurant, which also does dinner. A caffe and a sfogliatella standing at a bar on Via Toledo is the local alternative.

The view is the point

From a high floor you see the Maschio Angioino, the port and the ferries, and on the other side the domes of the old town and the hill of the Vomero. Ask for a sea-view room if the port and Vesuvius are what you want; the cheapest NH rate is described as a standard room with views, not a sea view. The Kayak listing's own sea-view rates cost only €6 to €23 more on our dates.

The rest is a business hotel: a mini-gym on the 16th floor, meeting rooms for up to 200 people, no pool or spa. Expect functional rooms, not a palazzo.

Location: the most practical address in the city

By OpenStreetMap foot routing, Piazza del Gesu Nuovo, where Spaccanapoli begins, is 8 minutes (600 m) away. Piazza del Plebiscito and the hydrofoils at Molo Beverello are both 11 minutes (860 m). Castel Nuovo and the Municipio station for metro lines 1 and 6 are at the end of the street. Napoli Centrale is 2.3 km (1.4 miles), about 31 minutes, or three stops on Line 1 from Municipio to Garibaldi.

Via Medina is a through street with buses and traffic, and the port is at the bottom of it. See our Via Toledo and Municipio page for the area.

Parking and the city tax

NH says parking is at a nearby garage for an extra fee and cannot be reserved in advance. It does not publish the price. The city tax is €6 per person per night at four-star hotels since May 1, 2026.

Who it suits

Island hoppers catching early hydrofoils to Capri or Procida, travellers who want a view without a seafront price, and anyone who values a lift, a big reliable chain hotel and the metro at the door over character. It suits less well a romantic trip: for that, the Decumani or the Excelsior have more atmosphere for a similar or modestly higher price.
