Napoli Pizza Village

According to the organizer's own FAQ, the deal in 2026 was this:

• Free entry to the village from 6 p.m. to midnight, and free shows on the main stage every night.
• A menu bought online, before or during the event: one pizza (margherita, marinara or a pizzeria's special) and one drink (a 33 cl Coca-Cola, a 33 cl Peroni Nastro Azzurro or 50 cl of water). We could not confirm the 2026 price on the ticketing page, so check it before you go.
• A gluten-free station, reserved for gluten-free pizza.
• Pizza classes run by Casa Caputo, the flour brand: two a night, 16 people each, booked in advance.
• A children's area with dough-making workshops.

The ovens belong to well-known Neapolitan pizzerias. Each makes a limited menu at speed for a crowd. That is the honest limit of the format: you taste a famous name's pizza under festival conditions, not at its best.

The organizer recommends the Cumana, the EAV railway from Montesanto in central Naples. Get off at Gerolomini; the Lungomare Pertini is about 5 minutes' walk. In 2026 the Cumana ran until 2 a.m. on the last nights of the festival.

Two warnings from the 2026 edition. First, Line 2 of the Trenitalia metro was suspended between Napoli Campi Flegrei and Pozzuoli Solfatara from June 13, so the usual metro route was not an option; check its status before you rely on it. Second, if you drive, the organizer and the town of Pozzuoli set up free, unguarded car parks along Via Campana with free shuttles. Other car parks near the seafront are private and paid.

The organizer counts 600,000 visitors and 120 performers for its previous edition. That is its own figure, not an audited one, but the scale is real: it is a free summer concert with food on a narrow seafront. If you go:

• Arrive at 6 p.m., eat first, then stay for the music. Lines at the ovens grow after 8 p.m.
• Buy the menu online before you arrive, so you queue once, not twice.
• Bring water and a light layer. July evenings on the coast are warm and the crowd is dense.
• Keep your phone in a front pocket, as at any big free event.

The festival exists to celebrate Neapolitan pizza, and Naples is full of it every night of the year.
